Introduction of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (PNTU) is a public university in the national education system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, established under the Prime Minister’s decision. PNTU is under governmental management of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and academic management of Ministry of Education and Training. As a multi-level, healthcare-focused educational institution, PNTU is responsible for ensuring a highly qualified healthcare workforce for HCMC and Southern provinces. We seek to become a leading institution in healthcare training and research in Southern Vietnam.
Objectives of the Seminar
The goal of this seminar is to update knowledge about information technology and digital transformation in medicine. Its content is related to the application of information technology to digital transformation in medicine towards the digitization of the system of medical facilities in the country. This seminar also updates issues related to digital transformation according to the current world situation nowadays. Through the seminar, doctors, specialists and managers working in hospitals and medical insitutions in Ho Chi Minh City can enrich their knowledge, update their assessment technique, prepare and implement digital technology application in management in hospitals. This can help improve the quality of management, care and treatment of patients in Vietnamese medical facilities. In addition, based on the exchange results between attendees and speakers, we will develop a training program for digital transformation in medicine for healthcare units in the city.
